Mijito Vinito from Nagaland, the First Secretary at India’s UN mission to the United Nations stated on Friday that terrorism & removal of non-muslim groups are only glories of Pakistan in the last 70 years. That is not only harmful to India or South Asia but also harmful to the whole world.

India opposed Pakistan’s demand for Jammu and Kashmir at the 75th General Assembly of the United Nations on Friday. Not only that, Mijito Vinito was present on behalf of India, blamed the neighbouring country for promoting terrorism in India.

A recorded speech by Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Imran Khan was heard at the meeting before Indian speech. Vinito left the meeting at that time. In his statement, Imran Khan demanded that the United Nations should intervene in the situation in Jammu and Kashmir. Vinito dismissed Imran’s claim in his speech. He said that Jammu and Kashmir was an integral part of India. So the rules and regulations that have been introduced in this area were entirely an internal matter of India.

In his speech, Imran claimed that the freedom and rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir were being curtailed. Mijito Vinito opposed the claim of Imran Khan and told that the only problem in Kashmir was that a part of it was still occupied by Pakistan illegally. India has been demanding to move out of that area for a long time.

Vinito added at the meeting, “This meeting has been listening about a person who has no statement of his own, no success, no advice for the betterment of the world. Instead, we saw lies, misinformation, attempts to spread hatred. The language used by Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan at the meeting has stained the image of the meeting.”

India has responded to Pakistan’s allegations by enforcing the right to reply. Vinito said that it was Imran Khan who had recently called Osama bin Laden a martyr. His words are showing his mentality while delivering it standing in the Parliament.

The Indian diplomat Mijito Vinito alleged that Pakistan systematically removes the minority communities like Hindu, Christian, Sikh, Jain and others residing in several states there. The majority of Muslims apply their abusive ‘blasphemy laws’ to perform religious conversions from several other religious people into Muslims.

In the meeting of the United Nations, India has blamed Pakistan for directly supporting and sponsoring terrorism in India and South Asian countries. “This is the country that committed genocide in South Asia 39 years ago”, Vinito said, “They killed their own people. This is the country that has repeatedly provided weapons, money and other support to the militants. There are multiple proofs for that. Even militants are given pensions. The United Nations also stated that the country has the most militants.”

Vinito continued his speech in front of the members of United Nations, “The issue of Pakistan’s continued support to the militant groups should be discussed at the United Nations. How they are doing this despite repeated warnings. Terrorism is the only glory for Pakistan to show the world in the last 70 years. So, Pakistan will be normal only if it deviates from the path of supporting terrorism. Otherwise, it is harmful not only for India, not only for South Asia but for the whole world”.
