Taliban insurgents have formed a temporary government in Afghanistan’s Panjshir Valley. Amanullah Saleh, president of the caretaker government, claimed that the Taliban and the Haqqani network had joined ISIS in Khorasan. ISIS Khorasan claimed responsibility for the blast near Kabul airport on Thursday. Amanullah claimed that the Taliban could not avoid responsibility for the two blasts.

The president of the caretaker government said Pakistan also denied any links with the militants. The Taliban is similarly denying their connection with ISIS. Amanullah claims, “The evidence we have shows that ISIS was born out of the Taliban and the Haqqani network.”

Amanullah Saleh previously alleged that Pakistan provided explosives to militants. Their purpose was to create chaos in Afghanistan. An explosion occurred near the airport’s abbey gate – John Kirby, the Pentagon spokesman stated. The other explosion happened near the Baron Hotel. The US citizens gathered at the hotel before the plane took off. It was known later that several Americans and Afghans have been killed in the explosion near the Abbey Gate.

The French ambassador, David Martinon, in Kabul warned of a possible second blast after the first blast. French Ambassador tweeted, “To my Afghan friends if you are near the airport gate, leave immediately. Take refuge in a safe place. There could be another explosion at any time.”

It was reported that a suicide bomber blew himself up in the crowd. Then another shot was fired. Many were killed in the blasts and shootings. Meanwhile, a group of members of the US Congress has written to President Joe Biden urging him not to allow the Taliban to destabilize Pakistan. The United States needs to keep a close eye on whether the Taliban’s influence in Pakistan is growing.

The President of the United States has warned of retaliation after a series of bombings outside Kabul airport that killed at least 160 people, including 13 US soldiers. Joe Biden told that those responsible for the sabotage would have to pay the price. The people of the US would not forgive and forget them. The US people would find the people behind the sabotage and force them to pay the price.

Despite one of the deadliest blasts in the country’s history, the throng of Afghans desperate to leave the country outside Kabul airport has not been stopped. A Huge number of people are waiting there. Hospitals in the city have been busy treating those injured in the blast. An atmosphere of fear prevails with an expectation of another sudden explosion!
