The UK government has announced to reimburse half of the bill of the customers who will eat in the restaurants and hotels there. The government has taken this stride to revive the hotel industry which has been affected very badly by this coronavirus pandemic.

So far, 1 crore 84 lakh 43 thousand 484 cases have been reported due to coronavirus infection throughout the world. Among them, 3 lakh 5 thousand 623 cases of infection happened in the UK and 46 thousand 210 cases of death occurred so far.

Meanwhile, the UK government has come up with a new idea to provide financial help to the affected hotel, restaurant industry due to Coronas. Now, customers will have to pay half of the bill if they eat food and snack in UK hotels and restaurants. The UK government will pay the remaining half the bill.

On the initiative of Finance Minister Rishi Sunak in Britain, the ‘Eat out to help out’ offer has already been started. This offer will be applicable from August 3 to August 31. Every person will get a maximum discount of 10 pounds.

Generally, the normal food bill of four people is 30 to 40 pounds. The condition imposed with the offer is that the customer will have to sit in the restaurant and eat. The takeaway is not included in the offer and also there will be no discount on alcohol.

Carolyn Fairbairn, Director General, Confederation of British Industry told that companies and employees would respond with our relief and resolution. She also told that this drive would be marked as an economic resurgence with a joint effort by the government and enterprise to support the country to come out from this crisis. According to her words, the damage has been made, but their effort would definitely minify the damage.

The governments of Australia and Denmark have also taken necessary steps to revive the economy in their country respectively with specific packages. But, the reviving package of the UK government has even crossed their amount. UK government will reimburse to focus a target to revitalize the hotel and restaurant industry within the crisis period of the world economy.

The Prime Minister of Australia Scott Morrison stated that the country was giving 6.7 billion Australian dollars to 690000 small scale businesses engaging around 7.8 million people.
